Junior Chef
As a Junior Chef, you are jointly responsible for the daily culinary operation of the restaurant. You ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly, the quality of the dishes is always high, and that the team is led with enthusiasm. In this role, you are ultimately responsible for the kitchen of the brasserie, but you are supported by ECLECT.
Your workday
- You prepare dishes according to fixed instructions and work methods. You ensure that taste, presentation, and timing meet—and where possible exceed—expectations;
- You work according to hygiene, safety, and HACCP guidelines and ensure correct compliance within the team;
- You distribute the daily tasks and think ahead in mise-en-place and preparation;
- You coach colleagues on technique, speed, and quality;
- You manage the stock and prevent waste and shortages.

- You cook with attention and understand that your work directly contributes to the guest experience;
- You feel responsible for every dish that leaves the kitchen, ensuring the taste and presentation are correct;
- You lead and coach the kitchen team, clearly and involved;

Salary and employment conditions
- Salary according to Horeca format cat. 8 | Reference function cook | Gross hourly wage €21.23 - €24.91;
- 32-38 hours: You feel at home in the dynamics of the hospitality industry and are available when needed. You work in rotating shifts and have no problem stepping in during evenings, weekends, and holidays when the demand requires it.
